Introduction

Rescue Social Change Group’s Outcome-Oriented Youth Empowerment (OOYE) model engages youth in the planning and implementation of advocacy activities that contribute to policy or environmental changes. OOYE is currently used to increase youth involvement in advocacy efforts to reduce tobacco use and obesity. The model is designed specifically for larger efforts that wish to include more than 100 youth in their policy change, corporate practice change, or environmental change strategies.
